Gebaut wurde hier eine F-5F der VFC-111 Sundowners Naval Air Station Key West Florida
im Maßstab 1:48 von AFV Club.

Zum Bausatz selber bleibt mir nichts anderes übrig als zu sagen : !!!Großartig!!!
Dies betrifft sowohl die Detailierung der Teile bzw. Oberfläche sowohl auch die Passung.

Einzig die Decals sollte man austauschen da diese leicht zu zerbröseln neigen.

Das Bausatzcockpit wurde gegen ein Resincockpit von Aires getauscht. Hier musste an den Seitenteilen etwas Material weggenomen werden, aber ansonsten passte das Cockpit einwandfrei.

Lackiert wurde die Maschine mit Farben von Gunze und Alclad.

Da diese Maschine hauptsächlich zur Pilotenschulung, und auch als Störflugzeug verwendet wird, habe ich auf Bewaffnung verzichtet. Ledeiglich ein AN/APX-95 POD wurde an der Tragflächenspitze montiert.

Built here was an F-5F of the VFC-111 Sundowners Naval Air Station Key West Florida in 1:48 scale by AFV Club. The kit itself I have no choice but to say: Great !!! This affects both the detailing of the parts or surface both the fit. Only the decals should be replaced as they tend to crumble easily. The kit cockpit was exchanged for a Resin cockpit from Aires. Here some material had to be taken away on the side parts, but otherwise the cockpit fit perfectly. The machine was painted with colors by Gunze and Alclad. Since this machine is mainly used for pilot training, and also as a jammer, I have dispensed with armament. Only one AN / APX-95 POD was mounted on the wing tip.
